Congrats on your Bachelor's Degree, Luis!

This degree is a prime example of grit and determination. Luis told me that at one point he put school on pause and lost his way for a bit, but came back and finished strong. He completed this degree for himself, but also to make his parents proud!

A wedding can be chaotic (I'm married so I think I have some weight on this lol)

Everything adds up quick. The venue, the food, flowers, the photography and of course video. It's expensive, but at the end of the day, all you will have left to look back at your day is your photos and video. Video is so special to me because you can relive that special day and hearing your speeches all over again is truly an incredible experience.

I'm so blessed that others have trusted me with their big day. It's something I don't take lightly and I do my best to capture everything from small details to the big moments.

I'll tell you a secret... 🤫 When I was in my early 20s, I picked up a camera for the first time. I remember I would get asked to photograph weddings, quinces, and film them sometimes, too.

I turned them down because I wasn't confident, was afraid to take risks, and feared failure.

Once I got into my 30s, I decided to just start saying yes, and I'm so glad I did. I've learned, I've gained more confidence, and I enjoy filming these special moments. Say yes next time and don't let fear hold you back! Sophia's quince is next month, and I'm super excited to be her videographer.

These are straight 🔥

Years ago, I met at a small coffee shop called Five Senses. I went in to try the coffee, had my camera with me, and took a few photos of Chris. I had no idea at the time that he was the owner of that awesome coffee shop.

The shop closed its doors later on (I miss your coffee, man) and Chris reached out for me to take photos of his son, Landon, and he nailed it! Fun fact about Landon... He actually bought that car himself. How awesome is that? Can't wait to see you big things, Landon!

I felt every bit of emotion while capturing Zaylee’s big day. Looking through the lens, I could see that bittersweet mix of pride and "how is she 15 already?" on her parents' faces.

I might not have a daughter, but as the dad of a nine-month-old boy, I’m starting to realize just how fast the years lean into each other. Moments like these are why I do what I do because one day, these memories will be our most prized possessions.

Zaylee’s film is coming along so beautifully! 🎥 We’re just getting into the voice-overs now (not in this clip, but stay tuned!), and it’s adding so much heart to the story.

Huge shout-out to Karina for trusting me to capture Zaylee’s 15th birthday. Quinces are such a powerful tradition, and I can’t even imagine the whirlwind of emotions that comes with it. Seeing your "little one" hit 15 already? Oh boy... that hits me right in the feels!

Studio session for the Tafoya family!

This whole session was smooth and easy, but you know what always lingers in the back of my mind? "Will my clients like the photos?" That always comes to mind haha and I'm sure I'm not the only photographer that does that.

Luis and Andrea ended up loving their photos though and I'm so happy they trusted me with this session.
