My dysfunctional Autonomic Nervous System...the chronic illnesses it's been associated with &/or diagnosed... My chronic journey & struggle with health has come with its costs & sorrows, put mildly, but though I openly address and "deal with it," in my own ways, showing the better portions of my life (so imagine how much worse it would look or sound between updates & posts), as well as the true, raw realities of the struggle when I can, I choose to take it with a grain of salt (a POTS - Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome - patient's favorite pun) and I choose to live with it &, while spreading awareness & fighting for improvement in the care we should receive & acknowledgement of its existence, I hope to live with it, enduring well, & living to the fullest, however I can.
Throughout this journey, I have been placed in a position where I am learning to "bear one another's burdens" in a much deeper & eye-opening way, thanks to the blessing of having a support network from local community & all around the globe, available to reach out at any time. I am so grateful to my many fellow chronic pals within the Dysautonomia + co-morbid conditions community, as well as so many others living with any chronic, acute, mild, moderate, severe, deadly, concerning, &/or unknown form(s) of health problem(s)/condition(s), for the lessons which make understanding and enduring possible as we do so together.
I also owe a deep gratitude to everyone who has crossed paths, whether battling health or not, for that care, willingness to help out in any way, love, charity, sacrifice, support, & so much more.
While October is , it's a constant struggle for anyone with some form of , as well as of such. In honor of the efforts to 💙, & because I have not been able to continue pursuing my love for with photoshoots since my health took over there, too, I broke out my camera and shot a few of my own.
Thank you for going this journey alongside us!
