Some mornings feel borrowed from a dream and the Oregon coast has a way of doing that.

Cool blue air, quiet waves, and that kind of calm that makes time slow down just enough. Then the day drifts into evening and suddenly everything is dipped in gold, the cliffs glowing, the ocean catching fire with the sunset.

Elopement days like this remind us why we do what we do. Barefoot moments, deep breaths, laughter between vows, and landscapes that feel like they’re celebrating right along with us.

If every love story could have a backdrop like this, we’d never leave the coast.

These moments are why Christmas minis hit different. Layers of love, years of history, and one quiet frame that says “we’re still us.” Cozy sweaters, frosted trees, and a lifetime tucked into a single photo.

Family sessions are always welcome during minis. Big groups, little moments, and everything in between.

I just want to take a minute to brag on our Santa!! The one and only magical man who has been with us since 2021. Year after year he shows up with the biggest heart, the warmest smile, and the perfect sprinkle of Christmas magic.

He has watched so many of our families grow, shared laughs, soothed nervous little ones, and created memories that parents will cherish forever. Behind the scenes, he’s just as wonderful, patient, kind, and truly dedicated to making every child feel special.

We’re so grateful for him and all the joy he brings to our studio. Our Santa isn’t just a character… he’s part of our studios story, part of our family, and a huge part of why our holiday sessions feel so magical. He has shared our first year during covid when we had to unconventionally do photos outdoor with the help of our friends at The Portable Pouring Co.. To working his magic indoors at our studio where we spent 3 beautiful Christmas together and this year will be amazing at Vermilion Valley Vineyards! He has been so flexible and amazing and taking time out of his SUPER busy schedule and coming from the North Pole to fit us in!

Here’s to many more seasons of sparkle, smiles, and Santa magic!
