If you missed the first Amherst Art Festival yesterday, you really missed out. A very diverse group of over 50 artist, an entertaining kids area were just the tip of the iceberg. The music was great and the performances from the performers were fantastic and mesmerizing. The cherry on top? A fire performance to end the evening. A big shout out to Rob Keiuf and his crew for putting on this spectacular event.

I met a few great artists (Michael Emmerling moedoeart Curtis Bixenstine ) and enjoyed hearing about their artwork and their processes, and Jim Kolaczko pulled out an old painting from his high school years that just threw me back to being in my grandparents’ house.

The Amherst Comets Varsity Football team had a great outing against Buckeye High School on August 28th for their second game of the season. With the Cheerleaders and Marching Comets filling the air with the sounds of a typical Friday night for the packed student section to enjoy.

First league with the new photographing tents.
We’ve upgraded our tents to extra tall 10’x20’ tents with side panels to help us control light even more for all of our youth and high school sports groups. While it did get a bit windy at times, we love the results. Next time, more sandbags.

Great photos don’t happen by accident—they come from never-ending growth.

As a photographer, I believe my clients deserve my absolute best every time they step in front of my camera. That’s why I continually put my work to the test through professional education and peer judging.

I’m thrilled to share that two of my recent image submissions earned Merits from the Professional Photographers of Northeast Ohio (PPNEO)!

In the professional photography world, a Merit isn't just a pat on the back—it's a rigorous evaluation judged on technical ex*****on, composition, lighting, and story. Even better, these merits count directly toward my journey to earn the Master Photographer distinction through PPA.

Why does this matter to you? Because the techniques I hone during competitions are the exact same skills I bring to your senior portraits, sports action shots, and family sessions.
