I swear I just blinked… and all the kids I used to photograph are out here getting degrees, becoming doctors, and getting ENGAGED 😳❤️

Weekend Recap (My heart is FULL)

This past weekend was one of those “wow… look at this life” kind of weekends. Today was my first day back after resting my left ankle, right knee, and lower back… so yeah, your girl needed it 😅

Friday – Abbey at Catawba College earning her degree in Nutrition. I met her back in 2018 on the softball field, and now here she is building her future. Her bestie Atta-Girl made it even more special.

Saturday morning – Sydney at High Point University… getting her Doctorate in Pharmacy and still one of the most humble humans I know. So proud of her.

Saturday afternoon – Anita and crew + Texas Roadhouse (THE ROLLS). Anita has been my “work sister turned real sister” since my Food Lion days, and her family will always feel like mine.

Sunday hit different.
Alex at NC State graduating with his Engineering degree… and THIS one? FULL CIRCLE.

I’ve known the London family for 26 years… since I was pregnant with Olivia. From middle school math teacher days… to Friday night football where I photographed Alex all four years… to his senior photos… and now college graduation… AND he’s engaged.

Excuse me while I process the fact that I am aging in dog years 🫠😂

To wrap it all up… time with Olivia and Alec ❤️
Crabtree shopping + Morgan Street Food Hall… just soaking it all in.

Pulled in around 12:30am… exhausted and completely grateful.

Huge thank you to Brigette for letting me crash and giving me a home base while I ran all over NC like a woman on a mission (because obviously… I was 😅).

These aren’t just friends…
These are years… decades… of connection.

From babysitting kids who are now in college…
to photographing seniors becoming doctors…
to friendships that turned into family…

It’s wild. And it’s beautiful.

Y’all… your girl has been BUSY BUSY BUSY. Like, who needs sleep when it’s FALL SPORTS SEASON?! Friday night lights, field hockey sticks, senior smiles, ANDDDD a brand-spankin’ new sport for me… 🏒 ICE HOCKEY. (Yes, I froze my ass off, but I survived.)

Football? Shot it. Field hockey? Shot it. Cows? Yep, shot them too 🐮 (with my camera… calm down, people).

So here’s the deal ... I LOVE this time of year. Fall sports, fall mini sessions, fall seniors, fall pumpkin spice, fall “all the things.” If you see your kid, your neighbor, your cousin’s boyfriend’s aunt in these galleries — share it, tag me, scream it from the rooftops… I’m here for it.

Woooo Hooooo … more sunshine and longer days! 🌞 CCHS Parents & Athletes—Spring Sports are here, and yep, I’ll be out there again, camera in hand. I’m checking my calendar now to see which games I can get to, but since I’m working full-time (I love my job @ GRB), here’s the deal:

I’m ONLY shooting Varsity games for:
⚽ Boys & Girls Soccer
🥍 Boys & Girls Lacrosse
⚾ Baseball
🥎 Softball

Sorry JV, I just can’t commit to the earlier game times.

📌 New rule: If I don’t have at least 3 athletes signed up per game, I can’t commit to going. My time is valuable and we all know I take HUNDREDS of photos. That means if you want me on the sidelines, start rounding up your teammates. And yes, it’s still ONLY $40 per athlete, per game. (Senior Nights are $50)
