Hello Instagram world !!! It was a great 3 week European break!! I have been recovering from Jetlag coma but I am pumped for all my special sessions starting tomorrow!!

I did not miss social media and I loved forgetting where my phone was because all my people were already surrounding me and I didn’t need to check on anyone or anything.

Busy life & work season is already knocking on the door as we are holding on to the last warm(er) Sunny days!! Buckle up, mamas !! We can do it!!💪💪

I actually love capturing extended families! Although I barely advertise them, they fill my summer every year. My first-ever session was an extended family shoot! It was overwhelming, and the stormy weather was a challenge, but the photos turned out pretty okay, considering it was my first-ever paid session and my clients came from Craigslist!!! Baby-led newborn sessions! I've talked about it many times - I don't pose or swaddle your baby into 'cute' positions, as I don't find them safe or comfortable for the baby. We let your baby do whatever he/she wants - and that's often being held, which is absolutely enough and perfect for newborn photo session!

Proposal session, how it works?

Secure your date – Book your proposal session with a 50% deposit.

Plan the details – We will schedule a phone call before or after booking to go over everything.

Share the location – Send me the exact pin drop of where you’ll be getting down on one knee.

Send a photo – I’ll need a picture of you and your fiancé(e), and I’ll send one of me so we can recognize each other at the location.

Signal when you're ready – Take a quick selfie with your partner at the location—this will be my cue that it’s go time!

Savor the moment – Stay down on one knee for as long as possible so I can capture every emotion from different angles.

Celebrate with an engagement session – After the proposal, we’ll continue with a fun couple’s session in the same beautiful setting.

I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I miss the hot early mornings on endless Virginia beaches like this one. We met at 6am for a sunrise session, my lenses fogged so bad because of the humidity and wouldn't de-fog, the sun was rising quickly in the morning and we were running out of time, my nerves on edge...That's when I started vigorously wiping my lens and thank God it worked!!! One of my favorite sessions from the East coast. 🧡
