“My kids won’t sit still for photos.”

Every parent tells me this. Usually while apologizing. Often mid-chase. Sometimes mid-session when a 4-year-old decides the grass is lava. 😅

Here’s the secret: I don’t want them to sit still. A kid frozen in place, smiling politely? That’s not your kid. That’s a school picture.

You’re going to want the one where they’re laughing so hard they’re crying. Covered in sand. Mid-piggyback. Mid-giggle.

So bring the chaos. I’ll meet them where they are. 💛

This little one came into the world and brought an entirely new kind of love with them - the kind that makes you forget everything else exists.

We spent the morning in the quiet of their home, no rush, no fuss. Just a family of two becoming a family of three, figuring out this new life together, one gentle moment at a time.

This is what I get to do. And I will never take it for granted.
