I imagine that one day when she’s all grown up… she’ll get her hands on these photos and think her Mother was the most beautiful being on earth. She’ll admire her Mamas gorgeous long hair. Maybe she’ll have hair like that too… maybe she’ll see herself in her Mother.

She’ll see the way her parents looked at her. The way she giggled when Daddy’s scruffy kisses attacked her cheeks…

She’ll see a youthful, new family glow in her parents back in the days when they were just getting started.

I imagine she won’t be able to wipe the smile off her face. I imagine her looking at her own daughter and seeing how much she looks like her…

I imagine these are some of her favorite images from her childhood and that every time she happens upon them, she smiles from her soul.

Proof that studio sessions can be just as fun and full of personality as outdoor sessions!!

Also… keep this in mind for when El Niño strikes and your session gets rained out. We got you covered. Literally!

My favorite thing these days is to let kids pick poses. The boys picked that very first pose in this series and it was pure comedy trying to get it to come together. We almost nailed it 😂

Stories of Motherhood 2027 sessions are underway and I recently had the pure joy of photography and her beautiful family in San Clemente.

The sunset we got was straight out of a flippin fairytale. As I was driving toward the beach I could see the clouds rolling in and I thought, “damn… we won’t get golden hour.” I was not prepared for this incredible sunset and I felt like I won the beach lottery 😂

You truly never know what you’re going to get at the beach and it’s kind of the beauty and the curse of it.

Anyway… The Mothers I encounter through this journey, this uphill climb that is Stories of Motherhood always have a way of reminding me that what I’m building with this is deeply meaningful, and truly needed.

I’m still in the building years and each year I’m learning something new and making changes. Our sessions for the 2027 event are open for booking and it’s a WHOLE new experience.

Santa can handle it 🎅🏼

Santa Pop-ins are booking and I know one of the biggest questions with littles is: “what if they don’t cooperate?” And my answer?? FANTASTIC!!

I am not the photographer that gets frustrated and requires your children to sit still. I have way more fun, when they have fun. Whoever they are going to be for Santa… is exactly who I want them to be. Hide and seek? Love it. Dance party? Let’s go! Tears and tantrums? That’s part of the story too. Snuggles and teary eyed smiles? Melt my freaking heart.

The last thing I want you to worry about, is them being “perfect.” Because the best pictures are always the ones when they are being exactly who they are.

Our Santa Pop-ins are quick, yet filled with fun, laughter, giggles, and play!!

And yes… you can book one as a holiday session and have Santa take a break too if you just want the setting.
