Double Bayou Texas Sunrise. It’s actually an older pic that’s even been published as wild art in a newspaper. It just popped up wanting an updated edit when I opened Lightroom. So cheers to a sunrise, ironically my favorite part of the day. 🌅

I went out chasing the Milky Way… and found a rainbow lit by lightning.
What you’re looking at isn’t daytime. This was shot deep into the night, under a full moon, with a thunderstorm brewing on the horizon. I set up hoping for stars or lightning bolts—but captured something I’ve never seen before.

A rainbow—at night—illuminated not by sunlight, but by flashes of lightning inside a storm cloud.
I didn’t even know this was possible.

Sometimes the shot you plan gets washed away in clouds. And sometimes the sky just shows off.
