For those who have always enjoyed my Iditarod photos every year, this year there won't be any due to Covid restrictions. I am sad that I can't share my passion for this awesome sport. We are still volunteering this year, just doing things a bit differently. Thank you all for your love and support!

Good evening folks, I have now made it easier for you to book your porch pics via Facebook. All you will need to do is click on the "book now" button and it should take you to the calendar. This coming weekend might be our last weekend to do these since it sounds like some of the stay at home mandates are being lifted soon. We can also do sessions tomorrow afternoon after 3.

From second story decks, to brightly decorated windows and everything in between, we had so much photographing everyone yesterday from a safe distance! I will be posting an album later today. Of you are still interested in getting pictures taken, please let me know! We will continue to do them as long as needed!

Happy Friday everyone!

Hello friends and neighbors!

I have been racking my brain over the last week or so on ways that I can spread joy and serve my community during this difficult time. I am a local photographer in Anchorage and think its important to document this very unique time in our history. Pictures really do say 1000 words! I saw a story an about other photographers that were also wanting to serve their community and document this time. And guess what.... it was like pouring gasoline on a an already lit fire within me!

World, meet

Weather and quarantine permitting, I will be offering quick (5 minute or so) front porch family sessions. It's going to go down a little something like this...

1. I will text you when I arrive at your home.
2. You and your family will pop out onto your front porch.
3. While staying 6 feet or more away, my husband and I will photograph your family. We will be wearing masks when needed for everyone's safety. No touching will be involved. I am in a wheelchair so I take these safety precautions pretty seriously. We might even be able take them from our vehicle. We will make it work :)
4. I will email you your photos within 72 hours or no later than the following week. It all depends upon how much inquiries we get.

Pajamas are totally allowed! Crazy hair... I don't care! Fido wants to join, bring him out!!! Our speciality is pet photography! Need maternity pics, we do that too! This is all about documenting YOUR family AS YOU ARE right now! In all your quarantine and social distancing glory!

I will NOT be charging for this service and will fit in as many families as possible! In lieu of payment, I just ask that you spread kindness and light. Know an organization that helps our community? Make a donation! Know a family that could use some extra help? Grab a few things for them next time you're at the grocery store. I have seen this community pull together for the greater good time and time again. I know you know what to do. ❤️

I want to try as hard as possible to do blocks of neighborhoods at a time to expedite the process so if you think your neighbors would be interested let them know! Please note that we will primarily be doing these on the weekends and on Wednesday afternoons weather permitting so keep that in mind when you message. When you message, please make sure to send me your email address and preferred date and time. Because of the quarantine, I will not be offering prints as that will require extra outings to the post office, etc. Not happening. sorry.

Hello everyone! I wanted to let everyone know that my website is gonna be going under some construction over the next month so it might not be available. Rest assured, Iditarod photos will be up soon. In the meantime, if you are looking for a specific musher, please let me know.
