I live out of my bags.
They're with me in wild places, in airports, and in moments that matter more than the images themselves. They carry my work, my responsibility, and sometimes the ability to help when help is needed.
I use .gear because it's engineered for the way I actually move through the world lightweight, protective, and always ready. It holds what I carry without slowing me down, and it stays dependable when everything else is unpredictable.
That's it.
That's the reason.

Life isn’t about staying in one place or having it all figured out.
It’s about taking the next step, even when you don’t feel ready. Even when the path ahead feels uncertain. Every step you take matters, especially the brave ones that happen on hard days.

Growth doesn’t always look like progress. Sometimes it looks like waiting, questioning, or simply holding on. But even the slow steps are shaping you. Nothing you’re walking through is wasted… not the detours, not the heavy moments, not the times you wonder if you’re doing enough. You are learning more than you realize.

So if today feels hard, keep going. Trust that something good is forming beneath the surface. Show up as you are. Choose forward. The path will meet you one step at a time and you are stronger, more capable, and more resilient than you think. 🤍

Morning light was just breaking over the horizon when we found this elephant herd moving quietly through the landscape. We positioned our jeep and waited, letting them choose the distance, letting the moment unfold on their terms.
Two very young elephants were playfully testing each other, curiosity bubbling over. One stayed close to mom. The other noticed us and decided this was his stage.
He came forward, stopped, lifted one leg... then the other. A hop. Big ears flapping, confidence growing. Each time he'd gather himself, burst into a jump, then run back toward mom, ears somehow bigger than the rest of him, before turning around to do it all again.
Mom stayed slightly off to the side, calmly feeding, but never stopped watching. You could see it... her left eye always on him. Close enough to protect, far enough to let him be brave.
We talked softly to him from the jeep as he showed off, back and forth, testing himself, testing us. After a while, mom gave a gentle call. He paused, did one last move, and then slipped back to her side, exactly where he belonged.
The way this young elephant looked at us... I'll carry that with me forever. So grateful for moments like these.

Paddling into a surreal dreamscape. 💫✨
Gliding across these still waters as the Northern Lights danced above and reflected all around us, was like stepping into another world. My friend and I kayaked through this magical night, capturing the aurora as it illuminated the sky and mirrored perfectly below. It's moments like these, where nature's beauty feels infinite, and it leaves me in complete awe of our creator!
