💍 It’s Sunday! And you know what that means! 💍

Today is the day for wedding bells! 🔔❤️

Today’s office is the beautiful Alaska Botanical Gardens, Anchorage, Ak, where I’ll be capturing the wedding day of T & J! 🌿📸

There’s something pretty special about getting to witness two people begin the next chapter of their lives together. I can’t wait to capture all the little moments, big emotions, and memories that make their day uniquely theirs.

📸 A NEW NAME. A NEW CHAPTER.

After a lot of thought, I’m excited to officially announce that Sam I Photography is becoming Forge & Frame Photography.

Sam I Photography has given me so many opportunities over the years. It’s where I started, learned, grew, met incredible people, and captured countless memories that I’ll always be grateful for.

But as my photography continues to grow and expand, I felt it was time for a name that better represents everything I want this business to be.

Forge & Frame is about creating something meaningful and lasting — from the moments we capture to the memories those photographs preserve. Whether it’s a wedding, a family, a graduation, an event, or simply a moment worth remembering, I want to continue telling those stories through my lens.

The name is changing, but the photographer behind the camera isn’t. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported Sam I Photography and helped me get to this point. I’m incredibly excited for this next chapter and everything that comes with it.

It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to share some wedding work, but I finally got the go-ahead! 📸💍

Here are some of my favorite moments from the last two weddings I had the privilege of photographing. Every wedding is different, and I’m always grateful when couples trust me to capture such an important day in their lives.

Not gonna lie… I don’t think I did quite as well at the airshow this year as I did last time. 😂📸

But you know what? I still had an absolute blast!

Sometimes you don’t get every shot you’re hoping for, but that’s part of photography. You learn, you keep shooting, and most importantly, you enjoy the experience.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day! From the American flag flying high, to the Navy putting on an incredible show, there were still plenty of moments worth capturing. 🇺🇸✈️

Already looking forward to the next airshow and another chance to get that perfect shot!

It’s been one of those weekends where the coffee is flowing and Lightroom hasn’t gotten a break! ☕📸

I’m editing two weddings back-to-back, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing couples who trusted me to capture one of the biggest days of their lives. Every photo brings back a memory, and it’s always worth the time to make sure each one looks its absolute best.

Now… back to editing! 😄

Badflower absolutely put on an incredible show! 🤘 They brought so much energy to the stage, and it was awesome getting the chance to capture a few moments like this one. Concert photography is always a challenge, but it’s one of my favorite things to shoot. Looking forward to seeing them again the next time they come through!

The countdown is on! ✈️🔥 The airshow is getting so close, and I honestly can’t wait. Every year I get more excited, and seeing these incredible aircraft up close never gets old. Looking back through some of my favorite shots is just making the wait even harder!

Here’s one of my favorites to help hold me over until the big day. Who else is counting down?

I always enjoy photographing couples by the water. The quiet moments always end up being my favorite. No fancy poses, no forced smiles—just two people enjoying being together. Those are the moments that tell the real story, and they’re the ones I love capturing the most.
