It still feels so surreal to have gone to my first concert, let alone part of the BTS comeback world tour.

What makes this even more special, besides sharing this experience with my husband, is that it was during the first weekend of AAPI month and right around the 10 year anniversary of saying goodbye to my mom.

Hearing ‘Arirang’ sung by a crowd of over 45,000 people made me cry because it reminded me of how my mom used to sing while cooking, as well as her journey to achieving her dreams in America.

Thank you for the memories BTS 💜

We finally got the chance to see the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales last weekend at Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss, which is one of the nicest shopping centers I’ve ever seen on a military base so far.

I knew these beautiful horses were pretty big, but I never realized just how big they were until I stood near them and barely came up to the bottom of their shoulders 😅.

A huge thank you to Budweiser, Fort Bliss, The Exchange, and Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss for making this happen for the community.

I’m just so proud of this branding session and having the opportunity to work with my esthetician to create content and celebrate her business turning four recently.

Small businesses will always have a special place in my heart for many reasons, a big one being how much they positively impact their community.

The time, energy, money, blood, sweat, tears, etc., that they’ve poured into their livelihoods shows just how much they love what they do and how much they love the people that they serve.

That is one of the many things that makes small businesses worth investing back in to.

I’ve always dreamed of photographing a hydrafacial machine for a number of reasons.

They look awesome, the technology behind them is incredible, and that post-facial glow is unbeatable (just to name a few).

Take it from me, someone that suffers from hormonal acne due to PCOS. Thanks to my esthetician, this machine, and a consistent skincare routine, my skin has drastically improved over time.

Meet one of my favorite people - my esthetician Aelyn!

As the owner and face of Hola Bonita Esthetics, Aelyn does so much more than provide luxury skin services such as Hydrafacials and DMK Enzyme Therapy (she’s the exclusive carrier of DMK in El Paso).

She provides expert knowledge in skin health.
She listens to you with intention.
Dare I say she’s an acne wizard?

Let’s not forget one of the most important things of all - she makes you feel ✨bonita ✨.

P.s. - I can’t forget her handsome little guy Mr. Alaska 🐾 who is CDO (Chief Dog Officer) of Client Experience and Canine Cuteness.

Branding session sneak peek number two.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about skincare, especially as someone that struggles with hormonal acne, is that products and their ingredients matter.

No, I’m not talking about what’s trending or celebrity skincare. I’m talking about products with high quality ingredients backed by science and research.

Support your local esthetician and invest in not only their small business but also your skin.

Here’s a little sneak peek at a branding session I did recently.

It felt SO good to get my gear out and do something creative and fun again. The best part? I got to collaborate with one of the sweetest humans for her esthetics business.

Should I share more? Should I also do an Esthetician reveal?

One of my hidden talents is finding the best Korean restaurants everywhere I go.

If you’re in El Paso, you have to try Korea House on Hondo Pass.

Get the dolsot bibimbap with a side of yaki mandu. Thank me later - and don’t forget to wear sweatpants 😂.

Since the weather was absolutely beautiful today and I’m on the mend from another migraine episode, I had to get out of the house to explore our new community.

Valley Farms New Mexico is a must see if you’re visiting the borderland area.

By far the freshest, healthiest flowers I’ve ever seen and the baked goods are quite literally baked with love.

Life lately (part 2) 📦🚚.

More glimpses into our PCS from Alaska to Texas!

First of all, Canada is absolutely beautiful. Wildlife? 10/10. Views? 12/10. Ketchup chips? Wasn’t too sure at first but they grew on me 😅.

A nearly 4,000 mile drive with two dogs is not for the faint of heart, but seeing them have their cute moments together and traveling as a pack was well worth it.

Life lately (part 1) 📦🚚.

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here - snapshots of our PCS from Alaska to Texas!

Yes, it’s a complete 180 going from an arctic climate to a desert.

Yes, the drive was beautiful and traveling through Canada was quite an adventure.

No, I would not voluntarily do it again 😂 (unless the army makes us).
