The Kennecott mine is an amazing piece of Alaska history. It’s been a bucket list item for my wife and I for some time and we’re thankful we were finally able to make it up for a two day stay at the Kennicott Glacier Lodge. It’s definitely out of the way and a bit of work to get here but it’s more than worth it. The sights are memorable and so are the mosquitoes. Don’t forget your camera and bug spray!
