It's an illustration of a moment in time where you felt happy, sad, joyful, nervous, excited about YOUR STORY. My goal as a photographer is to capture REAL moments that aren't posed or fabricated. I want to tell a story, and, more importantly, I want to tell YOUR story. I want you to look at your photos and remember how you felt and the real emotions behind YOUR story.

When I was a little girl, I loved looking at my parents wedding photos. I loved hearing the stories with familiar (slightly older) faces — they became part of me and my own story, woven into how I make sense of who I am as their child, in their family, in this big story of life.
•
I love how when I see these film photos I can hear them. The laughter, the glasses clinking, the parents slyly asking for more grandchildren, the friend touching up lipstick, the sounds of dinner & sleepy nephews. And I love that in these moments, legacy is preserved. Family heritage and story held dear.
•
This is where your love becomes legacy. Something tangible to hold and remember beginnings. One of my why’s.
