A different color arrangement every time. I love the story weaved into composing a custom backdrop❤️.

So much of this afternoon was spent just staring, looking for the note that’s off, the one flower that’s arguing with the rest.

This backdrop won’t truly come to life until the star arrives - but so much joy goes into preparing for the main event. A one of one set for a story only one person holds❤️.

You tell yourself you’ll get to it eventually - the family photos, the ones that actually capture this season of your life. But “eventually” keeps slipping, because life doesn’t wait for a convenient week.

So time was made. And what came out of it wasn’t just a photo - it was a finished piece of art, framed and hung before the busyness of life could talk you out of it again❤️.

PLAY. Every step of my play puts a new tool in my tool kit for you, dear clients. This was done for an experiment with back light and color play - I used a blue colander covering a single light source and simply MOVED.

I learned a new way to manipulate light, used an ordinary object to create art, and recognized how it feels to move the way I ask my clients to.
