Here are some reminders for Thursday's bank of ann arbor Sonic Lunch at the Michigan Theater:
• Doors: 11 AM | Mei Semones: 11:30 AM | Mavis Staples: 12:05 PM
• This show is free, general admission, and open to all ages.
• Because this show is general admission, we ask that you please shift to accommodate everyone. Help us eliminate empty seats whenever possible.
• Parking Garages: Maynard Structure - 286 Feet
Liberty Square Garage - 326 Feet
• The line will form down Liberty Street toward Liberty Plaza.
• Accessible seating is available.
• Small purses and personal bags are generally fine.
• Backpacks and large bags will not be permitted.
• Outside food and beverages must remain outside the theater.
• Ginger Deli will have tables outside for anyone who would like to grab lunch while waiting in line. There are also some amazing local businesses nearby.
• Restrooms are available inside the theater and have recently been remodeled. They look amazing!!!
• If you are saving seats for friends or family who are actively on their way, please be considerate of others and avoid leaving large sections of seats empty for extended periods.
• Please dispose of all trash on your way out.
• Please be respectful of theater staff and volunteers as they help guide seating and manage the crowd.
• Once the theater reaches capacity, entry may be delayed until seats become available.

The energy last week at bank of ann abor Sonic Lunch with Ax and the Hatchetmen with special guest Ohly was electrifying! I love to see people on their feet dancing and feeling the music!

Today, August 27, 2026, is an another extra special concert with Mavis Staples and special guest Mei Semones. It's also OUR LAST OF THE SEASON. If you've been meaning to come to a concert this is your last chance until next year.

Michigander never disappoints! Last week they poured out their energy on the crowd and they responded by packing the dance floor and singing almost as loud as the band.Opener Metal Bubble Triol made an impressive first appearance at Sonic Lunch and I hope to see them back.

Bank of Ann Arbor’s Sonic Lunch is a free summer outdoor concert series happening at the corner of Liberty and Division in downtown Ann Arbor Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Each week, lunch will be available on-site for purchase from a local food trucks. Sonic Lunch is a collaborative effort spearheaded by Bank of Ann Arbor, ann arbor’s 107one.

Hailing from the small, rural town of Hillsdale, Michigan, Lost Mary is committed to the essence of Folk music: storytelling.
