Monthly reflections look a little different this month because I don’t have the energy to make it all pretty in canva and I didn’t take my personal roll of film in to get developed from this month. So you get an iPhone dump!

July had to be the most busy and social month of my entire life and I loved every second of it but woo doggy I really gave it every ounce of energy I had.

1. Something that brought me joy: seeing my niece sing her heart out to Noah at Wrigley
2. Something I’m grateful for: a home to host the people we love
3. Something I’m proud of: my brother and I for navigating differences in beliefs and bridging the gap
4. Something I learned: honestly so much. I read a lot of non fiction this month. Did you know the Maldives are expected to be the first country to be underwater? Predicted to be uninhabitable by humans by 2100.
5. Overall theme: my life is rich because of the people i share it with
6. A goal for the month ahead: maintain a healthy balance of work, life, and rest.

I don’t know what photographer needs to hear this right now (every single one of us) but rest is vital not only to your personal well being but to your work. Creativity needs space and energy.
