Remember why we have Memorial Day.

It’s not a day to take lightly. It’s not just a day off or another holiday—it’s a day to remember those who gave their lives, not only for their own families, but for people they may have never known personally. They made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, and today we honor them.

Take time today to pray for those who have lost a loved one, for those who hold tightly to precious memories, and for those who continue moving forward each day as a way to honor their loved one’s legacy.

Today, the scripture, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13), is a powerful verse to carry in our hearts as we reflect on those who gave their lives—just as Jesus gave His life for us.

Today, we remember.
Today, we honor.
Today, we pray for our country and for the families carrying both the gratitude and pain of such sacrifice.

Happy Mother’s Day

Today we celebrate all the moms, moms-to-be, and spiritual moms. I want to take a moment to thank my beautiful mom for teaching me how to love like Jesus and for giving so much of yourself. You are such a blessing with the biggest heart, and I love you more than you’ll ever know.

I also want to wish a special Happy Mother’s Day to a few amazing women in my life: Lisa, Rosemary, Rachel, and Pati.
Each of you has played such a sweet and meaningful role in my journey, and I’m truly grateful for your love, wisdom, and presence.

There are so many other amazing moms I could mention so thank you for being a part of my story even if I didn't have a picture of you of tag you, know you are still loved and I'm so glad God has you in my life.

Being a mom isn’t just about carrying and delivering a baby. It’s late-night talks, giving advice, being a cheerleader and a support system. It’s being there through the highs and the lows, driving from place to place, cooking meals, folding laundry, teaching life lessons, fixing what’s broken, being creative, thinking outside the box, and constantly innovating for your family. It’s loving unconditionally—day in and day out.

While today may be filled with joy for many, I know it can also be a difficult day for others—those missing their moms, those longing to be one, or those carrying silent heartaches. Please know this: you are deeply loved and valued.
You’re making an impact in someone’s life, even if it doesn’t always come with thanks or recognition. Your kindness, time, and love are seen—by others and by God.

Keep shining His light. Keep loving like Jesus. You are making a difference.
