We had perfect weather for this engagement session at the park. We dodged families hanging out at the beach and folks sitting in my go to favorite photo spots, but with a little patience and trust, this actually ended up being one of the largest engagement session galleries I’ve ever had. There’s just so many cute sides of this park and I always have so much fun taking my couples on this little adventure!

The word gratitude comes to mind when I think about Kira and Logan’s wedding day.

I felt it from the moment I walked into the bridal suite and was welcomed with open arms. I felt it when Kira got emotional seeing her mom in her dress, when her brother officiated the ceremony and shared stories about his sister, and when her mom carefully held her train above the grass as she walked inside to prepare to walk down the aisle. I noticed it in the shoes scattered around the dance floor because so many people were dancing their hearts out and heels off. And I felt it in the quiet hug Kira and Logan shared during the final song as they soaked in the reality that this day they had dreamed about for years came and went in the blink of an eye.

Those are the moments I feel most honored to witness. The small, fleeting pieces of a wedding day that often go unnoticed in real time, but end up meaning everything years later. And helping my couples hold onto those moments forever is a gift I’ll never stop being grateful for. 🤍
