Moments from this past weekends wedding at the Royal Sonesta Downtown Chicago.

Lauren and Nate exchanged vows on the rooftop overlooking the Chicago River, with the city’s skyline surrounding them. As if that wasn’t beautiful enough, the celebration continued inside a ballroom wrapped in three walls of floor-to-ceiling windows. Watching the skyline glow during sunset and then slowly transition into a sea of city lights made the entire evening feel so magical.

As the sun set and the city lights slowly came to life, the entire room transformed into something unforgettable!

A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing Laura and Michael’s wedding in Chicago when I lived there. Fast forward to today, and here we are in Phoenix celebrating the sweetest new chapter as they prepare to welcome their little one.

One of my favorite parts of this job is that it doesn’t always end after the wedding day. I’ve been so fortunate to reconnect with so many couples after they’ve moved across the country, and somehow our paths cross again for another milestone.

Laura & Michael, thank you for continuing to trust me with your memories. Watching your story unfold and your family grow is truly one of the greatest honors!
