This is probably one of the hardest posts I’ve had to make.
When people come in, we hear things like:
• “This is great!”
• “We needed something like this around here.”
• “This would be perfect for birthday parties.”
• “We had more fun here than we expected.”
Those comments truly mean a lot to us.
A couple of weeks ago, so many of you liked, shared, and commented on one of our posts. We appreciate every bit of that support.
But the reality is this: support on Facebook doesn’t keep the lights on—customers do.
Between last weekend and this weekend combined, we’ve had just 5 people come play mini golf. Not five groups…five people. We haven’t had anyone come in to play laser tag.
At just $8 for a round of mini golf, it’s easy to see why we’re struggling.
I know there’s often an assumption that if a business opens, they must have plenty of money behind it. The truth is, I invested my own savings into bringing something different to our community because I believed Lee County deserved it. Like many small business owners, those savings are running low.
If you’ve been thinking about checking us out, this weekend is a great time. If it’s been a while since you’ve visited, we’ve upgraded our mini golf course with black lights to make the experience even more fun. Whether you choose mini golf or laser tag, we’re always working to make your visit better than the last.
And if you have a birthday coming up, we’d love to host it. An indoor party means no worrying about the weather—just mini golf, laser tag, and making memories with family and friends.
The best part of this business isn’t collecting admission. It’s hearing families laugh, watching friends compete, listening to the playful trash talk during a close game, and seeing smiles when people walk out the door.
I want to keep bringing those experiences to families in Lee County, Wise County, Scott County, Harlan, and beyond.
If you’ve been meaning to visit, now is the time. Every person who walks through our doors truly makes a difference.
We’re also making a change because we’re committed to giving this everything we’ve got. Starting Monday, we’ll be testing expanded summer hours for the next two weeks:
Sunday–Thursday: 12 PM – 7 PM
Friday–Saturday : 12 PM – 8 PM
