We got very lucky over the weekend! We stayed off the shore of Lake Superior and had a prime view of the Aurora Borealis. And just left of center you can see the core of the Milky Way starting to come up over the horizon. I had the intention of trying to get the Milky Way, but had no idea there was a chance at seeing the Aurora until that day.
