Just some snap shots of my Dad's watch jewelry that is now on my watch. Warming up my product photography.

Used Godox vl200 overhead at 75%, and a small LED panel from lower right. First attempt at jewelry photography.

Open to all feedback/helpful critique.

Can anyone recommend LR presets that work well for product, and perhaps also ones that work particularly well for jewelry? Thx

New gallery from my 2022 Grand Circle Tour.

Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce National Park, and Arches National Park. These images were taken from 5/17 to 5/26, 2022. They were captured with a Sony a7riii full-frame DSLR and Sony G 24-105mm lens.

Here's a 360 pano of Town Green park in Maple Grove MN. Lesson learned: It helps if you don't put your camera shadow right on top of a white card! LoL I finally got a good stitch with PTGui while including sky; I included 4 sky shots as well as 6 lateral shots. Decided to use 60 degree shots, instead of 90, so more overlap for PTGui to work with. This image has been sharpened using Topaz Sharpen AI

This is my first "Flambiant" (Flash+Ambient) attempt. Its a 3-season porch at my parents home. So, I have my ambient shot, flash, and two window-pull shots. Last shot is from my blending work in Photoshop. Still trying to get the hang of all those layers, and which need to be above the others, turned off/on, and how to know if I'm really making a better image or not! I do think the finished image is better than either ambient or flash alone, so at least there's that. LoL

Comparison of images taken using the DualFishEye Plugin vs. the Z1 HDR output. It seems clear to me that the HDR .jpg has noticeably less detail. Also, the DFE images are more true to color, in addition to being more detailed.
