After 9/11, Hannah’s grandma lovingly handcrafted small crosses for the firefighters and families who gave so much.

Today, a few of those crosses are tucked away in numerous spots throughout her mom’s home as a reminder of Grandma’s faith and compassion. On Hannah’s wedding day, these treasured heirlooms became part of the story, weaving a beautiful legacy into one of her life’s most meaningful moments.

Weddings are about so much more than two people. In many ways, a wedding day becomes a beautiful intersection of legacy and faith, where the values, prayers, and love of generations past are carried into the beginning of a new family story. 🤍

All the way from Texas, Hannah and Andrew hosted the most unforgettable Lake Geneva wedding weekend. I was surrounded by the most kind-hearted family and friends who truly loved and cared about the newlyweds.

The rehearsal dinner aboard The Lady of The Lake set the tone for the weekend celebration as guests shared smiles, laughter, and hugs. That love continued all the way through the end of the weekend after Hannah and Andrew drove off in their vintage getaway car as guests cheered them on and waved farewell.

As my husband and I settle into our new home, I keep finding myself daydreaming about the art that will fill our walls.

Our wedding photos are all already hung (obviously), but I’m so excited to start printing photos from our travels to put in our kitchen, bathroom, guest bedroom, and hallways.

One place I can’t stop thinking about is Italy where my friends, .schneiderwendt , and I took a hike through Cinque Terre after doing a bridal shoot for . The bright spring florals, warm sunshine, blue water, and those natural textures of the landscape would make each space in our home feel alive.

You can call me Phoebe Buffay, but I’ll always choose meaningful art over something mass-produced. I want a home that tells our story and sparks conversations.

This country’s nickname is the Land of Smiles, and it’s not just for no reason. Every native I met in my 3 months there was so kind, and always willing to help and offer a big smile.

I love this photo not only because it was taken at the Milwaukee Art Museum and later published in , but because of the pure joy it holds.

They raise their glasses together, the room erupts in cheers with everyone’s hands clapping. In that moment it’s just the two of them, soaking it all in, realizing this day they dreamed about is finally here. A surreal, electric kind of happiness you can actually feel through the photo.
