Yesterday, something happened that no bride or groom should ever have to experience on their wedding day.

Their photographer was a no-show due to a scheduling error, leaving them desperately searching for someone to capture their big day.

Then, completely by chance, I happened to be scrolling Facebook and came across the bride’s post asking if anyone could help.

I didn’t hesitate.

45 minutes later, after the world’s quickest shower, grabbing every piece of gear I could think of, and heading out the door, I arrived ready to do whatever I could to make sure their memories were captured.

I walked into a situation filled with stress and disappointment, but I left feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful that I happened to see that post. Grateful that I was available. And most of all, grateful that I was able to give this couple something they’ll be able to hold onto forever.

Sometimes, photography is about so much more than taking pictures. It’s about showing up when it matters.

Congratulations to the Newlyweds. Thank you for trusting me with your memories and allowing me to be a small part of your beautiful day. I’m truly honored. 🥹❤️📸
