Sweet Collins. Miss Ma'am had beef with me the minute she got to the session and tried to hulk out of every swaddle I tried. She made it pretty clear that she did not approve of my plans, and had some very strong opinions about this whole picture-taking situation.

But eventually...I won. Or, more accurately, she got tired of fighting me. Once she finally gave in and fell asleep, she was an absolute angel and we got the sweetest images.

Would you believe me if I told you this handsome little chunk was born 5 weeks early?!?! Mateo, now 3 months old, had to spend some time in the NICU so his family was never able to get newborn pictures. He came to my studio yesterday, gave me quite the upper body workout and rewarded me with a 15 minute power nap so I can get 2 whole pictures of him sleeping. He was a little spicy at times (my guy was super sleepy but also had some FOMO) but would hit me with a sly smile and some great facial expressions and would just melt my heart!
