Nearly ten years.
Sometimes I look through my camera and can't quite believe how quickly the years have passed.
I first photographed this sweet family when Mom and Dad were expecting their very first baby, Miss Annsley Kay. Back then, they were dreaming about who she would become. Fast forward nearly a decade, and here that little girl is. Now the oldest of four, and the most patient, and kind and nurturing big sis.
This session felt a lot like the season they're living right now: lively, joyful, a little busy and completely full of love. The girls giggled together, Holdyn kept everyone entertained, and while sweet Brekkyn was a bit reserved, she kept surprising us with the sweetest smiles whenever Mom, Dad, or one of her siblings caught her attention. Through it all, Mom and Dad remained exactly what they've always been - the steady calm in the middle of these full, fleeting years of childhood.
The evening couldn't have been more perfect.
Seventy degrees, soft light filtering through the clouds and four growing kiddos gathered close together for a few moments that already feel like they'll be treasured years from now.
What an honor it has been to document this family's story through the years. From waiting on their first baby to watching a family of six grow into exactly who they were meant to be. More from this beautiful session coming soon.
