Aundrea’s work throughout Humboldt County is so sacred & essential for our young black community members to have healing experiences & creative expression among their peers. Their upcoming trip to Sacramento State College will surely be a great & inspiring experience & they’ll also be having other local college campus guided experiences as well. Preparing them with insight & inspiration for their own educational paths forward after high school.

Beautiful beach sunset photo session from a few weeks ago for a local couple who are going to use some of the photos for their wedding invitations 🥰🫶🏼😻We got some great photos during golden hour & some lovely silhouette photos with this epic sunset too!
As much as I love the photos, I honor their privacy & wouldn’t want to accidentally do a spoiler alert & post the pic they’d end up using for their wedding invitations ~ so I’ll just share the epic nature photos from that gorgeous evening.

I feel this so deeply. As much as we desire peace on earth, it begins within.
I think activism looks different for everyone & to me, caring is the first step. That’s why I’m so into mutual aid, near & far- helping other people survive this crazy world is a great way to spread love.
I feel like it’s really important to let people rest when they need rest- bc we all need it. It’s a luxury too, I realize that. I’ve been processing a lot about the luxuries & privileges some people have versus others in this world & especially as a lot of white folks get all ampt up again, kinda like in 2020, I feel there’s a lotta “you should” statements flying around & at the end of the day, I think we would all benefit from switching that word should to could.

And in my opinion, we could all just do our best to advocate for all members of our communities & those under oppression elsewhere too- while still taking care of ourselves to the best of our ability.
You could try just doing what you can & you could try to leave your judgments of others to yourself. Better yet, you could try to check yourself once you feel judgements arise. And please note, you could. It’s up to you, truly.

With all that’s been going on, the devastating inhumane actions- across the globe & here in the states-for far too long- I’m sick to my stomach. I pray all the time that the people causing these atrocities come to realize how wrong they are & that they stop choosing hate & start choosing Love.
I’m grateful to see communities come together to protest this insanity- and support those in need as much as possible- but obviously I wish there weren’t a need.
All I know is, I want to be here for anyone in my community who feels they need support & I’ll continue sharing posts on my stories that I feel are more accurate & credible news sources.
Let’s activate like the☀️& melt this 🧊🥶let’s find a way to end the trauma & hate inflicted upon innocent people & children.

I love way in the distance how the color of the ocean almost blends into the color of the sky. I also Love this beautiful place we live, amongst all this glorious nature, it is truly such a blessing.
I thank all the energies and divine guidance that led me to this place in Humboldt county, where I met my Love & where we had our son. I’m so full of gratitude & photos like this are a reminder of how special this place is.
My work update is that I’m back at the salon Sundays only~ if that happens to work for your schedule & you’d like an appointment, please feel free to reach out.

My best friends & my family. My husband AJ & our son Jariah & his twin Ra. These 3 are my world ~ Other than AJ, Ra has shown up for me most during both pregnancy & postpartum, continuing to show me what it means to be family, to have someone we can count on for help.
Honestly our baby is amazing. He’s calm & happy & it’s such a joy & pleasure to take care of him. With that said, help is still much appreciated. Thank you to everyone who brought or funded food for us, came by to meet the baby & wash a couple dishes. We’re grateful 💕🥰
