"But seek first Hid kingdom.."

This couple, two of my best friends were so much fun to go hiking through the water with in Northern CA.
Its crazy for me to think back to what seems like yesterday but at the same time so far away... back when we were kids or (with sammie, seniors in highschool) to when we first met and to see where we are now.
The vast changes that I saw between this photograph and from when we first met isn't just attributed to their personalities, careers, or meeting each other..
They are who they are because they sought first the kingdom of God.
It's even how they met 😂

We are not promised an easy road, we aren't even promised a set amount of time we will be alive. Regardless, I'm thankful for friends that help me pursue Christ. I'm thankful for the friends that I can fight the good fight with, so that we may truly live and finish well.

THINK ABOUT THIS! Moments and memories. Those are what we have at the end of the day. It may be because it is 2:29 am and I'm sitting in my room thinking too hard about too much. But memories are so fleeting... how many days have I completely forgotten?

My obsession with capturing moments is because of this; have you ever had a friend say "do you remember that time when..." or had someone show you a picture of something you had completely forgotten about and now, all of the sudden you remember the whole thing, some of the emotions, or even just small random things??

This is why I love shooting weddings. I get to capture moments that will live with these couples.

If all photography was was posing people I quit.. for me it is so so much more❤

Dylan and Jess... Wow.
I wish you both the best! Working with such a genuine couple was moving.

Some people may think it's hard for the photographer to be present (hearing the wedding) while photographing, but you guys are something else.
I heard your vows, funny sometimes but mostly sincere. Your Dad's toast. Dylan getting a bloody nose from an excited guest.
I got to capture these things for you.

This isn't a job for me, this is something I legitimately find joy in. Capturing the big and small moments of this immeasurably important day.

I hope God continues to bless your marriage.

Sneak peek of Dylan and Jessie's wedding!! 😁😁

This was such an amazing wedding! So fun to see their union and be a part of this special day!
Also getting to have .chaffin jump out of her roll as a bridesmaid and shoot with me a little has me really excited for our future weddings we are partnering on!

Be surrounded by your best friends... literally! 😂
Life has been pretty insane recently! (Isnt it always?) But I've been really gearing down and getting ready for the weddings we have coming up!
Finishing up Daniel and Julie's wedding was harder than I thought it would be because I picked up a job at Valley Childrens Hospital in Madera. What I've found though is that it has enabled me to have more time to focus and really develop my skills as a photographer.
I'm excited to show you guys what I have been and will be learning over the past couple shoots!! 😁😁

Community.
Friends make you who you are and form you into who you will be.
It was so great getting to see the friends of the groom be there on this special day. Capturing the best man pray for Daniel was so perfect.
