One last image from the Blue Ridge Parkway before my focus shifts to the lower elevations (and after the coming rain, rivers and waterfalls).
I hadn’t intended to head back out to the Parkway early last week, but with promising skies I decided to go anyway, even though the only camera I had on me was literally my “backup to my backup” camera—an old D2Xs that I’ve used off and on for well over a decade now.
And one whose display screen no longer works, so I was totally relying on my camera’s old, outdated meter for exposure.
“Just like shooting film,” my buddy Luke said as we snapped away.
Turns out it did pretty well for a twenty-year-old camera, capturing that soft, warm light as it illuminated the ridge tops and the colorful foliage.
Hope you enjoy! Hopefully more to come!
