We have officially added our smallest drone to our fleet.

You may be asking yourself, why?

Well, this year, we have the honor of teaming up with Own the Season TV to add some aerial content to their show. This drone will allow us to bring the absolute best footage possible and I have a feeling you will want to tune in to see how it turns out.

What I appreciate about this opportunity is that they are doing everything by the book. What do I mean by this?

Well, other hunting shows also use aerial footage, but the majority of those folks do not hold a part 107 license and when using drones for commercial purposes, you MUST hold a part 107 license. This is the same for real estate agents. With the FAA cracking down on these things, it is smart idea to use a part 107 operator and not just some person that likes to fly drones.

We hope everyone is getting excited for the upcoming deer season and we look forward to seeing those harvest photos and as always, if you make a less than ideal shot, we will just be a call or text away.

SERIOUS QUESTION!

To my peeps in SW WI, I need to know if you are seeing the same thing as me.

I have not done any deer herd analysis this spring/summer as I have not pushed it as I am already busy preparing for our baby, but when I do get a moment, we usually take a drive and look for deer. In the last couple of weeks we have seen HUNDREDS of deer, but out of all of those deer we have only seen 11 fawns.

Is anyone else noticing a lower fawn rate this year?

Who else is waiting on fall? If you ever need a break from the hot temps, just look back at our recovery videos and dream of the cooler temps.

By the way, we have something plan for our clients this year and 5% of each recovery will go to it. More details to come right before hunting season, so be sure to stay tuned to the page.

It has been a bit, but we have done two calf recoveries this spring and have found them both - with the leaves on the tree, the one last took longer than expected, but we got it done. Once I get a break from work, building our new garage, and taking classes to get prepped for a home birth at the end of August, I will get some clips uploaded.

We are excited to announce that we will have a new co-pilot with us this fall on our deer recoveries.

P.S I have something cooking that I think all of our clients for the 26'-27' season will enjoy.
