A lil bit casual glam and a lil bit country for this full senior session a couple weeks ago. While getting to know my seniors more doing their sessions, we sometimes think of something we wished we had brought to life that’s unique to them. Hi all! Photographers are all in the midst of our busiest season right now, and I for one am fighting for my life! 😅 I’ve had the busiest July and August, and I’m so grateful, but it does mean that I am not happy with how far I am currently behind on editing with back to school prep and last minute moments of summer with my kids. Tomorrow and Friday I plan to get back to my 2 week turn around timeframe - so bear with me. I know waiting isn’t fun.

With that said, I was blessed with photographing another week old baby this morning, and I realized I hadn’t even shared a Baby Ilah preview from last week! She’s blessed with a doting and beautiful big sister too 🫶🏼

My goodness, best behaved baby award goes to Mr. Jackson Alan! Sleeping when he arrived, but due to eat, yet he kept on sleeping and slept through ALL OF IT! Very last pose he woke up, obviously starving, and met me like I hadn’t been snuggling him the past 2 hours 🥰 Isn’t he just precious!

Those full sessions are FILLED with diversity! We started in studio with hair and makeup, and a handful of studio shots, then off to the bowling alley, some flower shots along the way and then off to my house for this special “magical reading in the pond” look, and then the lake for sunset/blue hour! Reid - keep being a kid at heart, you’ve got the best personality! We had a full evening of laughs and bug bites on his favorite golf course. A Full Session gave us 4 hours to play, but we were still husting around making the most of our evening! Bright and airy, golden light and into sunset and blue hour, and ended at my Studio for wrestling creations and more professional headshots for use later. I’ve been blessed with a couple really enjoyable young men for senior sessions this year, and Mikey was definitely one of them. So willing to try things, take our time and do whatever it took to get the best imagery. Bring more of these boys my way!
