Straight out of The Notebook.

The tall grass, the golden light, the slow summer evening… it all felt like something out of a movie. Even better, next year I get to follow these two to Colorado to capture the next chapter of their story, and I honestly can’t wait.

Also… I don’t think I’ve ever edited so many mosquitoes out of photos in my life. I’m still itching just thinking about this session. Totally worth it, though.

This weekend was something I’ll never forget.

Thank you to every single person who came out to celebrate my grand opening. Whether you stopped in for a few minutes, brought flowers or a gift, shared a post, gave me a hug, helped set up, cleaned up, or simply showed your support—you made this day so incredibly special.

There were so many moments throughout the afternoon where I had to stop and take it all in. Looking around and seeing my studio filled with friends, family, clients, neighbors, and this amazing community reminded me just how blessed I am. This dream has been years in the making, and I truly couldn’t have done it without all of you.

THE BUNKES || Boe + Emma

I knew from the day of their engagement session that this was going to be the party of the summer… and it absolutely was.

From saying “I do” on the family farm to a live band, a mechanical bull, shooting beer cans with shotguns, and a dance floor that never slowed down—it was one of those weddings you never wanted to end.

The best part, though, was the people. They were surrounded by the most incredible family, friends, and bridal party who showed up and celebrated them with everything they had.

I’m still feeling the energy from this day. What a way to kick off forever.

Blake + Mercedes

I’ve known Mercedes since our college days, and if you’ve ever met her, you know exactly what I mean when I say she’s one of those people who lights up every room she’s walks into. She’s funny, spunky, full of life, and always unapologetically herself.

Then there’s Blake… the calm to her chaos. Quiet, steady, and the perfect match for her.

Watching the two of them together just makes sense. They balance each other so well, and I already know their wedding day is going to be one for the books. So excited for these two.

Man, where does the time go?

I’ve known Emily for years through FFA, and I feel like I’ve gotten to watch bits and pieces of her and Blake’s story unfold through the years. One social media post after another, and now somehow these high school sweethearts are planning a wedding.

These two are so easy to be around, and their session was full of laughs, chasing good light, and talking about everything they’re excited for in this next season of life.

It’s pretty special getting to photograph people you’ve known for years, especially when their love story has been this long in the making.

Cannot wait for wedding day, you two. 🤍

I truly don’t know if this day could have been any better.

The weather was perfect, everyone was so relaxed, and the entire day felt easy in the best way possible. There was so much laughter, so many happy tears, and a dance floor that was absolutely hopping from start to finish.

These are the kinds of wedding days that make the long weekends worth it every single time. So grateful I got to be a small part of this one.
