tucked away beneath the willow tree ✨️💛 🌳

there's something magical in that morning light. if an evening session is too late, especially during summer when sunset is so much later, we can always switch to the morning ☀️ this session was from 9am-10am

Richard Simpson Park - Lake Arlington - location scouting trip ❤️

- very nice bathroom across from playground
- downside for family sessions is playground in full view if you go towards the pretty fence
- walk to lookout to avoid playground, there's a grassy field and tree with 2 benches plus the lake look out

walked around it at 645-730pm, full sun is pretty harsh out on the look out point, but partly cloudy at that time for photos 🔥🔥. full sun is a vibe too, just maybe not when its 100 degrees

Doubletree Ranch Park has a huge grass field and a lovely pond. Two large trees near the pond that make for some nice open shade in the morning, even at 11am while we were there.

There is a huge splash pad and a playground to the left of the field, so to make it easier for sessions with littles I recommend walking to the right of the field so it's not easily accessible and as distracting.

Every time I go to post a photo...I am stumped on a caption. Do I write about the photo? The time together during the session? The feeling the photo evokes in me? Nothing about the photo? Is this part of my adhd indecisiveness?? Ahh lol this why I never post because I get sooo wrapped up in figuring out what to write that I say ah I'll try again later.

So here's to trying to write the first thing that comes to my mind when I start writing and then maybe I'll be more consistent on posting 🤞🤞🤞
