If you have an 8th grader at Williamsburg Middle School, I'm doing a photography project similar to Matt Mendelsohn's but for 8th graders. If you would like to sign your WMS 8th grader up, please go to my website; www.exposurere.com and click on book online.

In "real life" I'm a Real Estate Photographer but I have experience photographing people so this is a fun project for me. I get to see kids I've known since Kindergarten when my WMS 8th grader was at Nottingham but also get to meet kids that I've never had to opportunity to meet before!

You may have seen about Matt Mendelsohn doing all the Yorktown Senior photographs for a project?

I’ve been inspired by his work and would like to do the same thing for our WMS 8th graders!

How it would work: Have your 8th grader picks some props that would show what their interests were and/or something that represents them (basketball, softball, art, photography, etc.) and I’ll come to your house, in mask and standing 6/8 feet away, and I’ll use my long lens to get their portrait. These will be quick 15 minute sessions and I’ll send you a link to download the digital file at no charge. It might be cool to have the kids wear something that says WMS on it for continuity but obviously not required!
