I had so much fun hanging out with this newly minted big brother and the new little lady of the house (their parents are pretty awesome too 😉).

It’s turned into a pattern now, where by the end of the photo session, toddlers are basically volunteering to be my assistants, helping with my reflector and helping me to take photos 😂. This guy was no different. Also, I was literally cracking up at his faces and antics as I edited the session! (Not all of those outtakes are pictured here, just a handful of favorites🙃)

Today I get to hang with a repeat client (who was also referred)! Last time I saw this guy, he was less than 2 weeks old. Excited to see him and his awesome parents this afternoon!

Did you see my reel from the other day? (woo! first reel!)

If you did, you know I was rather disappointed when I showed up to a location I thought was going to be filled with sunflowers…and they were pretty much all DEAD😂
☠️ Here’s how the photos turned out of , and I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with them.

Especially because, as a photographer, I know how it is to have beautiful photos of everyone around you, and then be kiiiiind of lacking when it comes to photos of yourself.

I adore spending time with my families in their homes. We hang out, we laugh, we play. And by the end, the 2 year old usually decides to be my photographer’s assistant.

Such a fun shoot, with the great grandkids and great grandparents! I’m always happy to play for as long as possible during our photo sessions. But would you believe we did at least 5 different arrangements of people in about 25 minutes?! heck yes we did! Getterdone!

My heart is heavy, watching the news. I don’t quite have the words right now to express my anger, frustration, and sadness so I will leave that to others.
