I have been so fortunate to have such a loving mother. There’s so much you’ve given me that I’m grateful for. Thanks, for sharing music with me at such a young age. I still remember vividly going to the record store at the mall and getting all excited to pick out the 45’s I wanted. Even giving me the courage to sing to the clerk when I didn’t know what the title of the songs were. 😆

We’d get home and you’d put a step stool in front of the big wooden stereo console so I could lift the lid and play my records.

This distinguished gentleman is Rudy. Owner/operator of The Beard Place in Grand Prairie, TX on Main Street.

I met him at GP’s Farmers Market where he got his business started. I don’t have a beard, but it’s not hard to get into a conversation with Rudy when you walk past him. He’s got a friendly personality that draws you in. I didn’t find it surprising when he got his own brick and mortar.

If you’re ever in Grand Prairie, stop by and meet Rudy. He’s knowledgeable about the products he sells and is a great conversationalist.

If nothing else, stop by to see his amazing collection of cigar boxes!! Some are works of art! If you buy a kit from him, he’ll throw in a cigar box as well!

This dapper looking bearded gentleman is Kenny. For someone who was a little hesitant about being photographed, he sure was relaxed once the lights flashed and the camera started clicking! He looks great!

I enjoy having a session with someone that isn’t used to being in front of a camera. As I’m adjusting the lighting to find that which best captures them, I engage in conversation being mindful of body movements, facial expressions and how they sit or stand in their relaxed manner. It makes the process easy and enjoyable and allows me to capture their personality.

Though Kenny’s appearance is strong and masculine, he has a big heart which you can see in his eyes.

Angel came in for a portrait session that is out of this world! She is a talented makeup artist that did her own makeup. With the use of colored gel lighting and a fog machine with a composite image of stars, I gave it a look as if she were photographed in front of a galaxy cluster!

Had a fun session with my daughter, Roxanne. I was going for a dramatic shot that showed emotion and motion. She actually belted out a high note to get a genuine facial expression!

Since she was a child, Roxanne always showed confidence in her singing and piano playing. If there was an audience that would listen, she’d gladly perform for them. This image shows that energy she displays when she’s on stage singing for a band.

It was a pleasure having Anna in for a session. With planning and preperation, the session went smoothly. We were having so much fun, time flew by quickly.

Shooting tethered to my MacBook Pro, Anna was able to see results immediately which added to the excitement.

The material of the dress shimmered in the lighting. Certainly an eye catcher! 👀

I love what I do! Being a photographer gives me the opportunity to collaborate with creative clients.

I was recently hired to consult Tamika on her online presence in marketing her athletic apparel line, and shot images which she’ll use to revamp her website.
