John Krzesinski, born and raised in Berkshire, England, now lives in California. He is an IT professional who has been a hobbyist photographer for over 20 years. John primarily chooses to capture photographs of his local favorite spots around Pleasanton, San Francisco, Monterey, Mendocino, and the Pacific coastline, and Yosemite National Park. His photographs are taken for enjoyment that is based

on his love of nature and the beauty in the world around us. This love was imprinted on him by his mother, who passed away in 2009, and is reflected in a lot of his work. After receiving much encouragement from family and friends, and as a tribute to his mother, John has started to share his love of nature with a wider audience. More recently, John has been found photographing sporting events that his family and friends participate in... including Strongman competitions, Rallycross, and Basketball. He also enjoys photographing air shows.

In my head this was going to be an epic photo, with this morning's blood moon hanging over Mount Diablo... but the mountain didn't dominate the skyline the way I thought it would and the moon was too high in the sky for this to be as cool in real life as I thought it would be.

It was still pretty cool to see though 🙂

While I wasn't officially a part of the media crew this year I couldn't help shooting a few(?) photos of the event.

Before everyone starts asking, no I didn't shoot the whole thing, and I don't have photos of everyone in action (far from it), but when I get some time after we get back home, I'll go through what I shot and share some highlights here.

At supporting my daughter as she competes, and I am super proud that she is here. Here she is in action during yesterday's competition.

Past competitions I have showed my support for all the athletes by sharing photos of the event thanks to the organizers granting me a Media pass. Not so this year, so while I have captured some photos of other athletes (mostly the women) that I will share, it will not be full event coverage as it has been in previous years. If you are disappointed by this, provide feedback to the organizers of the event and perhaps I will be able to do more the next time I am at the OSG worlds finals supporting my awesome daughter.

I have truly appreciated all of the feedback I have received from you all when I have shot at prior events, and would love to be able to shoot more inclusively again with the backing of the event organizers in coming years.

For those who have made it to the finals today... SMASH IT.
