Hi friends: Start off 2020 with some photography! I'm joining three other photographers to show our work at Glen Echo Park from January 4 to February 4, 2020.

Just another great day as a photographer getting the chance to create images for my local congressman, Don Beyer and his wife, Megan Beyer. I love the image of them together as it really shows you their sense of humor and their great connection.

A week in Cuba is sensory overload for a photographer--but in a good way. I loved every minute. We got to spend one morning at Cuba's top boxing gym--the Rafael Trejo Gym--watching training. I took some action shots but my main love is making portraits and these guys were fantastic to shoot.

I had an amazing few hours photographing in Istanbul. I woke up at 4am to catch the sunrise over the Bosphorus. For some reason I specifically had birds in my mind, even weeks before I arrived. And while they only appeared for about 20 minutes and then were gone, these birds made the image for me.

New head shots and website photos for a DC-based executive who has made the transition from working in the corporate world to being a successful (and happy) entrepreneur as the head of her own leadership coaching firm. What a great downtown DC photo session.

My assignment from my photography seminar was to tell a story with photographs. I wandered the streets of DC yesterday trying to find a subject. After discarding a bunch of ideas, I ended up at my favorite museum to see if I could pull together a few images that showed the art, and its relationship to the people viewing it. The art and the beholder. I had to stalk a few people and wait for just the right placement. Here's what I ended up with.
