Awesome, we’re on our way back to the moon! I have been lucky enough to have had many memorable experiences with over the years… (if you follow me you have likely seen plenty of those experiences: from being invited for a tour & then being invited in to the moon vault where I was able to hold a piece of the moon, seeing all the shuttles, multiple capsules over the years and getting to hang out with many of the astronauts over the years - with Garrett Reisman seen below)… Growing up at the tail end of the space race & being alive to watch the 1st moon landing (even though sadly I don’t have any memory of it), space and the moon has fascinated me my entire life & if I ever had the opportunity to go, I would in a second! On a trip to Kennedy years ago I was given one of my prize possessions, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden gave me his personal challenge coin (seen below) which was minted using metal from a variety of missions, one of which was to the moon!!! This ended up being a way longer post than I initially envisioned, but as you can likely discern by now, if you didn’t already know, I am a huge space nerd. … I realize it may sound silly, but the fact that that I own something that was in space and possibly even on the moon still humbles me every time I touch it …

In another lifetime, what seems like a million years ago, (aka pre accident) I was chosen by to represent Los Angeles photography for a movie they were shooting (A few of you will remember the couple of months I was running around town with a Polaroid camera), through that partnership I made a special request of for full access to an upcoming very important & historic auction, which amongst many famous instruments included was black strat… I had been able to meet some awesome people, do some awesome things, visit some awesome places, but this was at the top of the list… if you are interested in seeing more, the entire catalog is in my page albums.

Well, it’s that time of year again… normally today I’d be filled with optimism about tomorrow but sadly due to the accident my days of running the are only a memory now. To everyone running this weekend I wish you all the best & I’ll be there in spirit with you all… A huge thank you to everyone who has supported my fundraising efforts over the years and just because I’m no longer able to run doesn’t mean you still can’t support St. Jude. Remember your donations are tax deductible & go a long way to care, provide assistance to families in need and importantly to research & finding a cure for pediatric cancer. Thank you…. Today marks my 3rd second chance birthday… 3 years ago I very nearly didn’t make it to see my 55th, and while the past 3 years have been extremely difficult emotionally, mentally, financially and of course physically… today by some miracle, here I am celebrating my 58th…! I can’t express strongly enough my gratitude to all you, the overwhelming support, generosity, kindness and assistance has truly been amazing. Thank you all… i hope you all have a Happy & healthy new year and a great 2026…
