Bark and Soul Dog Photography Dogs capture our souls in a very special way. My goal is to capture memories of our best friends to keep and cherish. Specializing in senior dog photography.

I'm Jennifer, and instead of being a cat lady I'm a dog lady. I can't remember a time I did not have a dog in my life. When I was a kid living on a farm, we always had one or two dogs. My own first dog was Casey, a beautiful German Shepherd. Then Nikoda the Rott, followed by Simon the mutt. Then my beautiful boy Ado the German Shepherd. To keep Ado company, I brought home Murphy the sassy Aussie. When Murphy and I had to say good-bye to Ado, we were completely heartbroken. Ado truly was the best dog in the whole world. I said I wasn't going to get another dog, but we all know how it goes. There's always room for another four-legged furry friend. That's when Teddie came into our lives. Teddie the gentle Aussie surrendered to a rescue. And because two just didn't seem like enough, there is now Sunny the yellow Lab pup. My house is full, as is my heart. My daughter once said to me, when I told her I was crying after reading something that touched me, that a full heart is a lot. Yes, yes it is.

After a long unexpected hiatus, I am ready to get back at it. Shoot me a message at [email protected] to schedule a time to capture memories of you and your beloved pet. If there's one thing I've learned over the last four months it is this: capture the memories now. Don't wait or it might be too late. All shoots are what you can pay. I'm not doing this for the money. I'm doing it to give everyone who has ever wanted quality photos of their pet to be able to.

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm still here. First the weather through January and February was simply awful, so I took those two months to regroup and play with my new camera. Then March, right when I was getting ready to start back at setting up shoots, dealt me a blow. I've been down and out ever since with a back injury. Very slowly I'm improving, but it'll take some time before I can get back at it. My hope is by June I will be able to get out and do what I love to do.

In the meantime, if you know you want to capture some memories of your best friend, let me know and we can get a shoot on the calendar for the summer.

Created this set for a photo shoot tomorrow, but the weather says nope, not gonna happen. My boys didn't want it to be for nothing, so they sat and let me get some pics. They're such good boys.

If you'd like to get some holiday photos of your best buddy, let me know. I would love to put the set to use.

Good morning. If there are any veterans in the area that would be willing to don their uniforms and sit for a photo shoot, I'd love to capture some images to share on my photography page. While I typically shoot images of dogs, I appreciate and would like to honor those who have served our country.
