📸 Exciting News! 📸
I'm thrilled to announce that I had the incredible honor of being the first photographer at The Barn in Brambleton! 🌾✨ This stunning venue provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the love and joy of a beautiful young couple on their special day. From the rustic charm of the barn to the scenic landscapes, every moment was picture-perfect. 📷💕
Stay tuned for more breathtaking shots from this unforgettable experience!
Ohhh yeah! You bet I was going to post this picture! I felt like a baddy ass boss mom for sure! One of the best moments of my life - you betcha! I never thought in a million years id have a photo like this! This happened so quick, there was no time to do anything else but smile to the heavens! So much adrenaline, I was pumped for days! Thank you for capturing this and many more! You nailed it!!
Sometimes a photographer gets photographed 😂 Thank you for capturing this special moment with my daughter while on vacation in the most beautiful Santorini Caldera cliffs 💕
Gotta love ❤️ a girl and her pony! Barn mini sessions are a perfect addition to your lesson program. Message me for Horse and Rider sessions for your IEA, NCEL, NCSSEL, JEL, or Summer Camp programs.
This young beauty captured my heart during our Merkel Farm barn Horse & Rider mini shoot!
Two feet move your body. Four feet move your soul.

Barrel racing embodies the essence of grit and grace. It's a sport that reminds us to embrace the thrill of the ride, to trust in our abilities, and to chase our dreams with all the fire in our hearts. So, whether you're a barrel racer or an enthusiast, let the thundering hooves and the unwavering determination of these riders serve as a constant reminder that, in the pursuit of our dreams, we can barrel through life's challenges and emerge as champions.
“What about Jack” was entered in the North American Sport Stallion Test (NASST) currently happening at Hilltop Farm Inc. in Corola Maryland. This three day test that includes the initial Vet Exam, like an FEI jog, for each of the stallions. In the afternoon, an observed schooling session (flat work only for the jumpers) is offered for every stallion with a bit of feedback for each rider.
Tomorrow, Jack will go through his 2nd observed training session with feedback being offered to the riders as well as to the audience. In the afternoon we have to look forward to the official ‘test’ with Jack completing his age specific jumper course.
On the third and last day, the test rider, Marion Ostmeyer is the main focus. Jack’s regular rider Tiffany Catledge will warm him up, and then Marion Ostmeyer will ride for approximately 5-10 minutes working on some of the same requirements that were executed in the prior day’s testing.
This is a very exciting experience, and all my honor to be Tara Bruerer’s Photographer for this 3day experience!
North America Stallion Sport Test - East Coast
Hilltop Farm Inc., Corola Maryland
Stallion: What about Jack
Owner: Tara Breuer (Windhaven Meadows, Warrenton VA)
Rider: Tiffany Catledge (Allforitfarm, Hamilton VA)
Respectful Mention OP: Stacy Lynn Equine Photography - was a pleasure working alongside you.

Ask me how my day went today, and I’ll tell you how exciting it was to photograph this little gem and watch her receive the High Score Foal Champion at Allforit Farm.
“What About Hannah” received a Premium score of 8.2 overall (Owner/Breeder Tara Breuer - Windhaven Meadows)
By new young Stallion “What About Jack” out of “Joyride” went for their I.S.R. - Oldenburg Registry N.A. Pretty cool way to spend a couple of hours.
I had the pleasure of photographing this absolute gentle sweetheart Jack (What About Jack 2018) an Oldenburg Stallion! I couldn’t believe his sweet temperament (5yrs old)! Just about every Stallion I’ve known have held so@much energy that i would be timid to be so close, let alone photographing freely in the paddock with no concern. An absolute gem! Wait till you see his offspring.
Hello Everyone, I haven’t posted in a while, for so many reasons, and each one of them deserved some time to explore. For starters, social media just sucked so much of my time and took away my own creativity. Yup! I would spend so much time deciding which photo was best, and what reflected my brand, that I eventually just got locked up - it happens. I honestly obsessed with trying not to let imposter syndrome set in - that’s a real thing, especially when you are growing and developing your own look and style - stepping back from looking at what my peers were doing helped 110% hands down!
I also took time to think long hard about what really mattered to me, and what brought me joy. This picture represents BOTH, and is the heart of why and how I started this photography journey. My love and admiration for my daughter (and family) and the love of horses. I needed time to step back and just explore all things that fueled my soul.
When my daughter moved away this past year to attend college her freshman year, my life changed in more ways I could not predict. I no longer attended horse shows 1-3 times a week, and I myself even took time off from riding, thinking I had so much more time on my hands. I lined up home project after home project, until I was just busy with things that didn’t really make me happy.
With my daughter being home this summer, I’m back at horse shows (although not photographing, just enjoying being a equine mom), riding lessons, seeing old friends, and meeting new ones, I feel better than ever!
It’s more clear to me than ever that the shift of my daughter leaving for college took an impact on me that I didn’t even realize. I know this will shift again with her going back in the fall, but I finally understand where a piece of me went, and also how to hang onto it. I’m so looking forward to my upcoming photo shoots, and love my active mentorships. I’m happy to share this with you all, and look forward to posting when I’m not busy living life, and enjoying the things and people around me that bring me joy!
Happy Holidays to everyone!!

There’s no shortage of pictures of this beauty queen Maisy owned and loved by Shelley Paulson 💓🐎.
How are you reminded of your accomplishments? Let’s see - Well, It’s pretty awesome to have taken Lauren Nicolason’s and Vermiculus’s picture only one year ago at Great Meadows International here in Virginia. In fact what’s even more monumental is that they were recently choosen for the FEI WORLD Championship for Eventing team (US and Canada) happening at Proton del Vivaro in Italy this coming September! These are the golden nuggets from being an equestrian photographer - for me. As I celebrate Lauren’s accomplishments, I’m reminded of my own, I took this photo as a part of the Erin Gilmore Photography, I loved it then, and I cherish it now! A huge Congratulations to both Lauren and Vermiculus! I’m forever a fan, and will be following your many accomplishments to come.
If you want to fly, give up everything that holds you down - Buddha
As I reflect on my experiences from the this quote seemed to be fitting from my journey with Shelley Paulson. 5 days, 7 shoots…and one consistent experience was changing my mindset. Switching gears daily, bending the rules, chasing light, while making memories and new friendships. I enjoyed it all.
Here I’m featuring a “Silhouette by Sunset” with this duo pair “McDreamy” aka “FLF Biscuits N Gravy” who is owned by . Thank you for the experience!
Today I had the opportunity to work beside an amazing friend, photographer, and mentor at Morven Park Summer Hunter Jumper Series. Surround yourself with the best, to be the best! Check out your photos from today’s show at https://eringilmorephotography.pixieset.com/
