There is a saying: “As within so without, As above so below.” The origin of this saying dates back to ancient times of alchemists and philosophers. There are many interpretations to this saying, but for myself, I believe that the meaning is what we see, and experience is actually created by our inner thoughts and feelings. What is above, in our mind, will be reflected in the circumstances of our lives. I like to view photography as an example of this. Every image taken is a reflection of not only my inner thoughts and feelings but also of who I photograph as well.
