Today marks the last post in my 24-day count to fall. When I chose to highlight spring and summer, I didn’t plan how I would close this little journey. As I reflect, I realized those very seasons I’ve been sharing were also some of the hardest I’ve ever walked through.
Whispers of Hope... inspired by
Green, the color of renewal and fresh beginnings.
Persuasion by Jane Austen, with its theme of patience and enduring love, is finally rewarded.
Knitting, each stitch a quiet whisper that builds into something lasting.
And in many ways, that’s been my own story these past months. It’s been so hard, but also full of quiet gifts. I’m thankful for my faith and the word of God, for great books and beautiful literature, for the handcrafting skills I’ve been blessed with, for my husband and family, and for the joy that photography, and my photography business, has brought me in the midst of it all.
So here’s to fall, to endings that bring new beginnings and to hope, even when whispered, never being lost.
Thank you so much for your sweet and kind support. Sending hugs and love.
Stay tuned for a beautiful sunset proposal coming up later today 🧡💍
P.S. I don’t usually name my hand-knits, but this one felt special enough to have a name, for me, or for the person it may someday wrap in warmth.
