The reception, or rather, the epic party! The kind of where no one wanted the night to end. Where shoes were forgotten, songs were sung at the top of lungs, and every corner of the room felt alive. The heat didn’t stop C&H people, they embraced it.

From dinner with loved ones in Chapel Hill to a quiet stop by the river before their ceremony in Saxapahaw, every part of the weekend felt intentional and unhurried.

A disco ball, candlelights, hand painted records, good music, meaningful toasts, and a packed dance floor, wouldn’t have meant anything without their village and beautiful community.

It was a really good weekend celebrating two really good people. And it’s for such people that we love to do what we do ♥️

The wedding day began in a charming cottage among the trees. Getting ready there was emotive, especially when both were accompanied by their close families. It felt quiet, yet exciting, and of course, whimsical. 

Before making their way to Haw River Ballroom, C&H stole away for a few moments by the campground river close by.Just the two of them, surrounded by the sounds of water, summer air, and the excitement of everything ahead. Their ceremony was taken at the amphitheater full of their love ones who said yes to be there ♥️

There’s something special about looking back at an engagement session when the wedding weekend is finally here.

Last year, C&H met me at Black Balsam K**b and we had so much fun! These are a mix of film and digital images from that amazing day.

Now, their wedding weekend has arrived, and it feels a little surreal to look back at these moments knowing how much anticipation and excitement they held.

A little rain could never take away the joy of this day ☔️

L&A embraced every moment at — dancing in the rain, laughing through every drop, and reminding everyone there that the best celebrations are the ones fully lived in. And almost as if the day knew exactly what it was doing, the rain paused right after their ceremony, giving us golden sunlight, mountain views, and the sweetest time feeding alpacas together. 🦙

The night carried on at the in downtown Asheville, where North Carolina and Peru came together on the dance floor to celebrate not only a marriage, but two families becoming one. The kind of day that felt warm, alive, and unforgettable from beginning to end.

After months of pouring my heart into the details, my website is finally live today.

Not a reinvention.
Not a new beginning.
Just a freshened space that feels even more aligned with the heart behind my work.

A place shaped by stories, emotion, stillness, movement, art, and the beauty God has so graciously placed around us.

This season reminded me that inspiration doesn’t always come from chasing more, but from slowing down enough to notice what’s already in front of us — light through windows, hands held tightly, flowers blooming, quiet glances, tenderness, creation itself.

Every detail within this new space carries intention.
The same vision, the same heart — simply refined with deeper meaning.

Thank you to every couple, family, and soul who has trusted me to preserve pieces of their story. Truly, it means more than words could express.
