I can’t say enough about how amazing it was to see the Asheville Symphony bring back the Young People’s Concerts for all the 5th graders in Buncombe County. This year, the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra performed for over 2,500 students along with special guest Béla Fleck… what an opportunity for the musicians onstage and for the kids in the audience!

Haven’t posted on this account in some time, but why not take the end of the year to post some images from the old archive!

These are the ruins of St. George’s Anglican Church in Grenada after the catastrophic Hurricane Ivan in 2004. All the church towers in the city showed the time Ivan’s eye came ashore when they broke, memorializing the hour...
