Over a year ago, I started volunteering my photographic skills to Haywood Street Congregation...I take photos of the people served by the church each week, and return the next week to give them the prints...last Fall, and this Spring, I was included in a project, "In Plain Sight", a photo journal of homelessness and street life in Asheville, NC....page is Unofficial: In Plain Sight....those 45 photos, taken by photographers here in Asheville,were hung at Haywood Street, in the sanctuary, until this week. Today, when I arrived, I was very happy to see them, in the dining room at Haywood Street, for all to see, where they appear to belong. With all that is going on in politics, it is so nice to be a part of something special, loving, respectful. I am blessed to be a part of this celebration and a part of this family.
