I’m officially booked for regular sessions for the rest of the year, and while I’m SO thankful to be this busy, I also hate having to turn you away. I never take it lightly when you reach out wanting me to capture your family, seniors, milestones, and everything in between. I truly wish I could fit everyone in.

There will be ONE more opportunity to book with me this year: Christmas Minis! I’ll be sharing all the details and opening those up in the next couple of weeks.

A little life + business update:

Lately, I’ve felt stretched pretty thin. Between being a mom, a wife, working full-time, and running this photography business, there always seems to be something that needs my attention.
I LOVE what I do, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who trusts me with their memories. But I’m also learning that it’s okay to slow down.

I can’t answer every message the second it comes in. I can’t edit every gallery overnight. I can’t say yes to every session. And I don’t want to spend every spare minute I have behind my computer when there are things happening right in front of me that I don’t want to miss.

My son is growing up way too fast. My family needs me. My house needs attention. And honestly, sometimes I just need a night where I do absolutely nothing.

So if my response time is a little slower, or I take a little longer getting a gallery back, please know it’s not because I don’t care. It’s actually because I care about doing this in a way that allows me to still be present for the people I love most.

There’s a real person behind this page, doing her best to balance the business she loves with the life she loves even more 🫶🏼

One of the questions I get asked most often is, “What do we wear?”

If you’re planning fall family photos, here’s a little inspiration. This year’s fall palette is full of tones like terracotta, olive, mustard, burgundy, mauve, cream, brown and dusty blue.

A few of my favorite tips:
• Choose 3–4 colors and coordinate rather than match.
• Mix textures like knits, denim, corduroy and layers.
• Start with one outfit you love and build the rest around it.
• Consider the location and choose colors that complement the setting.
• Don’t be afraid to add a little color.
