Hello, my name is Kai Cadarette-Stewart, I'm a photographer based out of Southern Oregon. I was raised with an appreciation for the great outdoors, and have a desire to share my experience with others. Photography has proven to be the median that allows me to expose people to my experiences with nature. My main focuses are Landscape Photography, Timelapse Video, and Outdoor Lifestyle.

Local skaters throwing down hard at Ashland Park 🛹 A great local skate comp that was held as fund raiser for Aidan Ellison's family. Nov 23rd, Aidan was sencenly shot and killed, waking our small town up to the injustices and racism that is still very much an issue regardless of how liberal your town may be.

The Little Plant

Super fun evening of testimg out my brothers new Suzuki Samurai up and down the backside of Mt. Ashland. Great view of Mt. Shasta in the background from the back road.

Insane place to live.
Amazing group of friends.
Life is good.

Imagine men scrambling down 532 steep, slippery wood and concrete steps on a 280-ft. cliff in a raging storm to a 36-ft boat…surrounded by waves and rocks, buffeted by brutal winds, tearing out to sea to rescue sailors on a ship in trouble.
These men were US Coast Guard “surfmen,” and launched search and rescue missions from the Port Orford Heads from 1934 to 1970. They were responsible for a 40-mile stretch of coastline between Cape Blanco and Cape Sebastian. Men on a 37-ft lookout tower, perched at the westernmost tip of the Heads, watched for distress signals that sent the surfmen down to the boathouse in Nellies Cove.

He was actually the one who spotted this composition for me.

Had a relaxing day trip with some of my realist friends. Cruzed through Lower Klamath National Refuge into Lava Beds National Monument.

#1 - Mallard Duck
#2 - Lava tubes that goes pops in and out of the ground and back in. The infamous caves used in the Modoc Wars (1972-1973).
#3 - Baby ravens nest we found located at the top entrance of the cave.
#4 - Red Tailed Hawk gliding through the air.
#5 - Red Winged Black Bird

Applegate Lake with the Red Buttes Wilderness in the back ground.
The Red Buttes are a wilderness( @6,739 feet) I can't get enough of. I want someday to lead a photography workshops into. I've been visiting it 2 or 3 times a year trying to figure out the best time to visit. Hard because almost all year around its gorgeous with it's multiple ponds/lakes, mtn peaks, wildflowers, and elaborate rock structures.
Some day soon on the workshop 🤞
